Community Submission and Owner Claim
Anyone may submit a publicly reachable Minecraft endpoint for a factual ownerless listing. This quick submission does not require authority to manage the server, permits no rich promotional content, and grants no ownership or editing rights.
Only the owner or an authorised representative may claim, edit, promote, access analytics, change endpoints, or remove the listing through owner controls. Owners may contact support to request claim review or removal.
Accurate Listing Information
- Keep the server name, endpoint, game edition, versions, capacity, region, language, website, Discord, descriptions, FAQ, and media accurate.
- Do not claim features, uptime, player counts, rewards, moderation, partnerships, or safety standards that you cannot substantiate.
- Do not impersonate another server or use confusing names, logos, trademarks, or media.
- Correct material inaccuracies promptly and archive the listing when the server is no longer offered.
Content and Safety
- Do not link to malware, phishing, credential theft, unlawful stores, pirated clients, or tools designed to bypass game licensing.
- Do not publish unlawful, infringing, hateful, sexually exploitative, terrorist, fraudulent, or abusive content.
- Do not expose another person's private information or use media without permission.
- Comply with applicable game publisher rules, commercial-use guidelines, consumer law, privacy law, advertising law, and age restrictions.
Ping and Query
By listing an endpoint, you authorise FindMates and its service providers to make proportionate automated connections for verification, scheduled status checks, public statistics, and abuse prevention. You confirm that you have authority to grant this permission.
Do not configure endpoints to attack, redirect, probe, or expose systems that you do not control. FindMates may slow, pause, or stop checks where they create security, legal, or operational risk.
Votes and Votifier
If you enable Votifier, you authorise FindMates to transmit an in-game username, service identifier, timestamp, and voter network address to the configured endpoint for reward delivery.
You must process received vote data only for legitimate vote/reward, security, and fraud-prevention purposes, protect the Votifier token, publish any privacy information required of you, and not resell or misuse voter data. Rewards are your responsibility.
Ratings, Seasonal Ranking, and Manipulation
Each game has its own seasonal ranking. A season lasts exactly three calendar months from its launch date and begins at 00:00 UTC. Season Points reset when the next season begins; the separate Quality Score does not reset.
A verified FindMates account can give one vote point to a server once in any rolling 24-hour period. Owners cannot vote for their own server. A server needs votes from at least five unique accounts during the season before it receives a ranked position.
Season Points update when a valid vote or promotional bonus is recorded, while ranked positions are recalculated once per day at approximately 00:10 UTC. Ties are resolved using Quality Score, then 30-day uptime, followed by a stable technical identifier.
Quality Score measures listing completeness (20%), monitored stability based on 24-hour, 7-day, and 30-day uptime (30%), community reviews (30%), and recent server activity (20%). It is a comparative platform signal, not a safety, quality, or publisher endorsement.
Featured listings receive ten promotional Season Points once per season when the eligible Server Boost activates. Up to three eligible Featured listings may appear in separately labelled, rotating placements above and within server catalogs.
You may not buy, automate, coerce, exchange, or fraudulently generate ratings, votes, clicks, saves, impressions, or player-count responses. You may invite genuine feedback without requiring a particular score.
Community ratings and votes are user signals and are not controlled by the server owner. FindMates may invalidate abusive activity, correct calculation errors, and adjust integrity controls, but does not promise a particular score, position, or amount of visibility.
Featured Placement
Server Boost applies only while the listing is eligible, active, and included in the paid subscription. It provides the Featured placement described at checkout and is labelled as paid placement.
Server Boost does not promise traffic, player joins, votes, purchases, income, retention, review scores, or growth. Archive, suspension, payment failure, owner changes, or ineligibility may remove placement under the billing rules.
Archive, Restore, and Media
Archiving removes the listing from active public surfaces, pauses normal ping scheduling, and preserves its previous visibility, content, and attached media for restoration. Restoring does not automatically restore paid Server Boost placement.
Pending uploads that are not attached may be deleted after 48 hours. Owner-requested media deletion and platform cleanup may be delayed while storage and database state are reconciled.
Enforcement and Appeals
FindMates may request evidence, restrict or remove content, suspend a listing, remove paid placement, or terminate access for legal, safety, integrity, or repeated rule violations. Where required, the affected owner receives a statement of reasons and an appeal path.
