Cookies are small browser records. FindMates also uses local storage, session storage, pixels, and similar technologies. A live consent panel provides the current vendor and purpose details where a certified platform supplies them.
Strictly Necessary
- Authentication, session integrity, CSRF protection, security, fraud prevention, and load or abuse controls.
- Your selected language, theme, interface state, and consent record.
- Short-lived state required to complete provider login, checkout, or a requested workflow.
Analytics
Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare Web Analytics may measure visits, performance, navigation, and product events. Where consent is required, analytics storage and scripts remain denied until the relevant choice is granted.
Advertising
Google AdSense may use identifiers and storage to serve, measure, limit, or personalise ads. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland the service uses a Google-certified consent mechanism where required. Advertising based on profiling is disabled for users we know are under 18.
Managing Your Choices
Use the Privacy choices link in the footer to accept, reject, or change non-essential categories. Withdrawing consent affects future processing and does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.
Browser controls can also delete or block storage, but blocking essential storage may prevent login or other requested features. Where applicable, FindMates also honours supported opt-out preference signals.
Retention
Cookie and storage lifetimes vary by purpose and provider. The consent interface or provider list supplies current details. FindMates retains the consent record long enough to apply and demonstrate the choice, then deletes or renews it under the configured policy.
